WEST VILLAGE

A recently restored brownstone in New York’s West Village, initially constructed in 1910, exudes sophistication, inviting home comforts, and boasts a panoramic rooftop garden. It features design details of the highest order, including a newly installed fireplace mantle crafted from Bath stone sourced from Jamb, England, wallpaper by Timorous Beasties, sumptuously upholstered bedrooms adorned with Schumacher and Holland & Sherry fabrics, as well as Claremont and Elizabeth Eakins textiles, and antique Suzani wall coverings. The living spaces are appointed with sofas by Baxter and Henge, lighting by Seguso and Hans-Agne Jakobsson, and Christian Wassmann from R & Company--the rooftop patio sports McKinnon & Harris outdoor furniture. Notably, the residence showcases artworks by renowned talents such as Matthew Barney, Catherine Opie, Karon Davis, Kerry James Marshall, Félix Gonzáles-Torres, and Leo Villareal.
